I have been honored to have a Black and White Photography Exhibition at the prestigious Calderón Guardia Museum in Costa Rica. Opening day on February 26 drew a large crowd of nice people and here are some snapshots from that night.
I entitled the Exhibition “Elements, Scene and Life” as I explain in my Artist’s Statement:
“Every time I am fortunate to live and to photograph the land we inhabit, I hear voices reminding me that each Landscape and each Nature subject are attached to the primordial components of their history. Time and Sun’s energy have caused a transformation of the basic elements: rock, water and atmosphere into the scene in which life now develops. The small Costa Rica is a land subject to the enormous forces from our Planet’s interior, which give it its geography, and the intense tropical weather that fills it with life. We have to be very thankful that all has come together in the right proportion in order to turn it into a Nature paradise.”
The exhibit will be open through March 21st. and I will be hosting a number of events including. The group photos below are from encounters with Art School students.

I am very thankful to all the friends, family, artists and photography lovers that have attended the Exhibition. For the benefit of my friends abroad, I made a Gallery at my Photoshelter website that you can visit by clicking on this link.
I hope you like it! Let me know what you think.
