In recent years I have enjoyed so much visiting Cosplay festivals and making pictures of the costumed participants that I had to make a post about them.
I enjoy watching Anime and have a deep respect for the Japanese mastery of color. I can understand the enthusiasm of the cosplayers and their connection to the characters they portray.
My wife and I went to the Kamen 2016 International Cosplay Festival, held at the National Stadium of Costa Rica during this weekend, and I decided to share with you, and with the participants who want a copy of their photos, a selection of the images I made.
I include a few photos in this post and I encourage you to visit the Flickr account I just started using to freely download these and many other full-resolution photos.

I also uploaded several photos to Instagram. Click here to see them!
Congratulations Cosplayers for your beautiful costumes and thank you for your excellent poses!

I too am a big anime and cosplay fan. We have just reinstated the Wondercon Anime and Comics Festival here in San Francisco. This after officials had removed it for some three or four years! I didn’t go this year, but I get to enjoy your shots from Costa Rica in its place.

I enjoy so much the enthusiasm of the Cosplayers. They even thank me for taking their photos… but I always say: Thanks to you!
