The windows of Rome

What do you do if you only have a few hours in a great city like Rome?  …Take a bus tour!
What can you photograph in a Rome bus tour?   Finestre!… windows that is… lots of them.

I know it is the last resource of a hurried tourist, but we had been in Rome a few times and didn’t want to waste a nice, sunny afternoon just waiting to take a plane back home. We boarded a double-decker tourist bus and proceeded to enjoy the ride.

I got some nice street photographs, a few tourist snapshots, and then I realized light was great for architectural photos… maybe a study of window design?

Well, here is a collage of finestre romane to share with you!
